- Type the letters you have into the box (up to 20). Use a ? as a wildcard for a blank tile, e.g. TRA?N.
- Optionally open Advanced Filters to set a minimum or maximum length, or require the word to start with, end with or contain certain letters.
- Click Unscramble — every valid word appears in coloured bands by length (7-letter words, 6-letter words and so on), each showing its Scrabble score.
- Click any word to see its live dictionary definition, pronunciation and part of speech.
- Use the search box to filter results, and copy or download your full word list.

Does it support wildcards or blank tiles?
Yes. Type a ? in place of any unknown letter or blank tile — for example TRA?N — and the tool treats it as any letter, just like a blank Scrabble tile.
How is a word unscrambler different from an anagram solver?
A word unscrambler finds words of any length from your letters, including shorter ones. An anagram solver finds only words that use every single letter. For that, use our separate Anagram Solver.
Where do the word meanings come from?
Click any result and the tool fetches a live definition, pronunciation and example directly from an open dictionary API. Every result already comes from a curated English dictionary, so the words are real and playable even on the rare occasion a full definition is not available.
